You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, conduct depositions, and partner with senior attorneys on strategic cases. The position supports a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two remote days, offering mentorship and strong collaboration in a high-caliber team.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Active California Bar membership is required.
• 3+ years of attorney experience.
• 1+ year of defense side employment litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers and management in employment litigation matters.
• Handle cases involving a broad range of labor and employment law issues.
• Manage litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and other stages of the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court appearances.
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and contribute to successful case outcomes.
• Take increasing ownership of matters as your experience and capabilities grow.
