You will work with senior attorneys on discovery, motions, depositions, and complex litigation, with increasing case ownership and client-facing responsibilities in a boutique environment offering flexible

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and litigation case management.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple active matters.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• California labor and employment litigation experience preferred.
• Employer-side employment litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation matters through various stages of the litigation lifecycle.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Manage written discovery and assist with complex discovery strategy.
• Take and defend depositions as experience progresses.
• Assist with single‑plaintiff employment claims and complex employment litigation.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategy.
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Help prepare matters for dispositive motions, settlement, arbitration, and trial.
• Communicate directly with clients and develop strong client-service skills.
• Take on increasing case ownership and responsibility as your experience grows.
