Job summary

Orion Placement, a well-established employment law practice, seeks an attorney to represent employers in sophisticated employment litigation. The role involves handling complex matters, managing all litigation stages, drafting documents, and advising clients on business objectives.

Requirements include 3+ years as an attorney and at least 1 year of defense-side employment litigation experience. California Bar membership is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience practicing as an attorney.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and general litigation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers and management in employment litigation matters.
• Handle cases involving a broad range of labor and employment law issues.
• Manage litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and other stages of the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court appearances.
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide practical legal guidance.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and contribute to successful case outcomes.
• Take increasing ownership of matters as your experience and capabilities grow.

Pay: $200,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
