Job summary
Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. seeks an experienced Technology Solutions Software Engineer II-III in Greenville, NC.
You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for connected products and intelligent control systems; collaborate across engineering teams to define requirements and architectures; and verify software through simulation, testing, and troubleshooting. Level III adds leadership, reviews, and mentoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 2+ years embedded software experience (Level II).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 4+ years embedded software experience (Level III).
- Experience developing embedded software for connected products and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for connected products and vehicle communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and scalable software architectures.
- Verify and validate software via simulation, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the product lifecycle.
- Partner with manufacturing, product management, suppliers, and service teams for development and issue resolution.
- Level III: provide technical leadership via code/design reviews and mentoring.
