Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electronics Hardware Specialist to join its Power Components Division in Moon Township, PA. This hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 remote) focuses on hardware design for circuit breaker electronics, with emphasis on analog/digital circuits, EMI/EMC compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in NPD, and 2+ years in embedded electronics; Altium experience is required. Sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of new product development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience architecting, designing or developing embedded electronic products.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design, testing, or troubleshooting.
• Experience with EMI/EMC design practices.
• Experience using Altium Designer or other schematic capture/PCB layout tools.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50-mile radius of Moon Township, PA.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to hardware design and development of circuit breaker electronics products.
• Design and develop analog and digital circuits and perform design analysis and testing.
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and other regulatory standards (UL/CSA/IEC/NEMA).
• Support production and field issue resolution, root-cause investigations and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship within the hardware team as appropriate.
