Job summary

Pure Power Engineering Inc is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and produce construction documents for utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects of 50 MW and larger. You will join a team delivering high-quality engineering solutions for complex renewable energy facilities.

Based in Kansas City, KS, the role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of electrical engineering experience in solar PV/power systems/renewable energy.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or similar drafting software; familiarity with construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Support design and engineering of utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects under guidance of senior engineers.
• Prepare complete construction drawing packages using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders including clients, utilities, and contractors.
• Conduct engineering calculations (voltage drop, cable ampacity, conduit fill) and assist with analyses.
• Assist in site visits, RFIs, and reviews of equipment submittals.
