Job summary

Pure Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and produce construction documents for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects of 50 MW and larger. The role is based in the Kansas City area with a hybrid work schedule, and offers opportunities to contribute to interconnection studies, design reviews, and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in designing commercial/utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Experience creating construction documents with AutoCAD and managing sheets/blocks.

Responsibilities

• Design utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects 50 MW or larger.
• Develop detailed electrical designs: layouts, equipment specs, single-line diagrams.
• Prepare construction drawings in AutoCAD and generate bill of materials.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, and contractors; respond to RFIs during construction.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC and industry standards; QA/QC processes.
