Job summary

Pure Power is seeking an Electrical/Solar Design Engineer for utility-scale projects in the Denver, CO area. The role focuses on designing and producing construction documents for solar PV and BESS installations of 50 MW and larger, with hybrid in-office/remote work.

You will develop electrical layouts, select equipment, create single-line diagrams, size medium-voltage runs, and coordinate with clients, utilities, and contractors, ensuring NEC compliance and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years designing commercial and/or utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Experience preparing construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of NEC and applicable industry standards.
• Strong communication and multitasking in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects 50 MW or larger.
• Prepare complete construction drawing packages using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, permitting agencies, and contractors.
• Support projects through construction with RFIs and submittals.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, codes, and standards.
