Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a first shift, full-time hybrid role in Independence, OH. You will support design, analysis, and documentation for low- and medium-voltage systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The position requires ABET-accredited BS in EE/EE Tech, 0–5 years of related experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and lighting tools. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from ABET-accredited program.
• 0–5 years of electrical engineering experience in consulting, design-build, construction, or related design environments.
• Read and interpret architectural, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with NEC 70 and NFPA codes.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 30% domestically for fieldwork, due diligence, and onsite meetings.
• Prepare and revise electrical drawings, power plans, lighting plans, equipment schedules, and panelboard schedules.
• Draft electrical one-line diagrams and riser diagrams for LV/MV systems.
• Perform engineering calculations including system demand, service sizing, feeder sizing, and voltage drop.
• Coordinate electrical design efforts with senior engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Address redlines and design revisions in a timely manner.
