Schneider Electric seeks an Engineer I or II, Mechanical, to join the Modernization Team in the Cincinnati area (Fairfield, OH) with potential for some remote work after acclimation. You will design low and medium voltage switchgear and collaborate across teams to deliver robust mechanical solutions.

Requires a 4-year mechanical engineering degree and 1–2 years design experience, with travel up to 20–30% monthly. Hybrid work options may apply as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in design, preferably electromechanical.
• Willing to travel up to 20–30% (3–6 days) per month.

Responsabilités

• Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of factors.
• Create designs for low voltage & medium voltage switchgear or switchboard assemblies.
• Coordinate with engineering and plant teams to develop solutions within project scope.
• Develop Bills of Material based on new product designs.
• Create engineering reports/submittals addressing project needs.
• Perform site data collection visits when needed.
• Understand company processes and applicable codes/standards.
• Incorporate digital footprint into new solutions/services.
