Actalent is seeking a Distribution Engineer for a hybrid contract-to-hire position in Chicago, IL. You will design electrical distribution projects, perform field data collection, and convert information into detailed design packages for QA and client approval.

The role requires 2–4 years (Engineer II) or 4+ years (Engineer III) in distribution design, with proficiency in Smallworld, AS8, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, and Microsoft Office. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience for Engineer Level II, 4+ years for Engineer III.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.

Responsabilités

• Prepare engineering designs for electrical distribution projects.
• Conduct field visits to collect information from client stakeholders and end users.
• Use collected information to create preliminary design packages for QA approval.
• Upon approval, develop detailed design packages in adherence to standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with drafters, designers, and engineers across multiple projects.
