Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) is seeking an EHR Application Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for the EHR Helpdesk. You will troubleshoot user issues, manage tickets, and communicate changes to users while coordinating with the EHR vendor as needed.

The role requires 2–3 years of full-time application support experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (waivable with equivalent education and experience)
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with enterprise EHR systems and support processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for EHR Helpdesk trouble calls and manage tickets to resolution.
• Troubleshoot user issues, document steps, and communicate outcomes to users.
• Coordinate user group meetings, create agendas, and capture minutes and supporting materials.
• Work with the EHR vendor when needed to resolve complex issues.
• Produce and maintain end-user documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Seek process improvements and strive for timely, high-quality customer service.
