Job summary

AMS Impact Group seeks a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support payroll operations across a growing network of schools. The role processes bi-weekly payroll, validates data, and ensures compliance with wage laws in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will reconcile payroll, generate reports, and assist with year-end activities while partnering with HR and Benefits teams. Hybrid work in AZ is available, with opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Four to six years of progressive payroll experience required in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• Experience processing payroll with Workday Payroll and reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for assigned employee groups using Workday Payroll.
• Validate hours and payroll data through time and attendance systems.
• Prepare and process manual payroll checks when necessary.
• Monitor payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, tax reporting, and audits.
• Support payroll process improvements and system updates.
