Job summary

AMS Impact Group is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support payroll operations across a growing network of schools and educational organizations. You will manage payroll processing, records, compliance, and respond to employee questions with a focus on accuracy and timely payments.

The role requires experience in high-volume payroll across multiple states, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree minimum; Bachelor's preferred.
• 4–6 years progressive payroll experience in multi-state environment.
• Experience with Workday Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for assigned employee groups using Workday.
• Review and approve self-service payroll changes in Workday.
• Validate hours and payroll data via time and attendance systems.
• Prepare and process manual payroll checks when necessary.
• Monitor payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Complete payroll reconciliations and balance payroll reports each cycle.
• Investigate payroll discrepancies and employee pay issues.
• Generate payroll reports, audits, and analyses for stakeholders.
