Placements24 is seeking a strategic and experienced Social Impact Program Manager to lead and expand community development initiatives in East London, Eastern Cape. You will design, implement, monitor, and evaluate programs in collaboration with internal teams and community partners, combining remote and on-site work.

The role demands 7+ years of program management experience, strong leadership, and expertise in social impact measurement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive program management experience, preferably in social impact or non-profit sectors.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and evaluating complex social programs.
• Strong understanding of social impact measurement and reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a portfolio of social impact programs.
• Set program goals, objectives, and KPIs.
• Oversee program budgets and financial accountability.
• Build relationships with community stakeholders, NGOs, and government bodies.
• Lead program evaluations and report on social impact.
• Identify new opportunities for program development and partnerships.
• Manage and mentor program staff and project teams.
• Ensure alignment with organizational mission and values.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Represent the organization at forums and conferences.
