Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a motivated Program Cost Controls Manager (M4) to lead financial management and oversight of high-visibility IFPC INC 2 and MRIC programs. The role partners with the portfolio finance director to ensure cost/schedule control and EVMS compliance, while driving the EVMS cadence and advising PMs and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• Experience with Earned Value (EV) reporting.
• Experience working with bookings/backlog, providing inputs to Annual Operating Plan (AOP), 5 year Long Range Planning (LRP), establishing initial baseline for new awards, coordinating and/or performing Estimates-at-Complete (EACs).
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, including CPI, SPI, cost and schedule variances, and development of variance explanations and corrective actions.
• Compile, validate and deliver recurring & non-recurring EV deliverables
• Lead and drive alignment of information between proposals, earned value management, estimates at complete, resource and investment management, and financial plans and forecasts
• Meet internal & external deliveries with flawless work product, providing predictable financial forecasts, briefing program & finance key team members in advance of resolution making, providing financial strategies in proposals & contract negotiations.
• Finance delegate for proposals, gate reviews, and heading up strategic discussions with the program regarding profit; discussing fee and favorable criteria to drive a fair assessment of Raytheon’s work to encourage the best outcome for the business.
• Comfortable in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to customers, Senior Management and peers.
• Experience recognizing process shortfalls and successfully implementing positive change.
• Lead and develop a team of 4-5 program control analysts.
