Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator (S) to support infants and toddlers and their families in the Raleigh area. This role coordinates IFSPs, conducts home visits, and works with multi-disciplinary teams to arrange services including speech and physical therapy.

The position offers telework flexibility and a hybrid workplace, with salary range $37,377 to $65,408, and generous state benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children 0–8 and their families.
• Knowledge of child development and milestones.
• Experience collaborating with families and professionals.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices used with young children and families (natural learning environment, caregiver coaching).
• Fluency in a second language.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional IFSPs with families and team members.
• Coordinate services and supports across disciplines.
• Conduct home visits.
• Coordinate services such as speech and physical therapy.
• Arrange and monitor other early intervention services.
• Plan for transition to services at age three.
