Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking an experienced E&S Property Underwriting Manager to lead portfolio strategy and ensure profitable growth of the property book. You will develop and deploy underwriting standards, manage staff and drive quality controls across the team.

The role coordinates with Risk Engineering, Claims and Marketing to optimize service levels, manage relationships with brokers, and report on loss activity and GWP. Hybrid work model in TX/CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of commercial P&C coverage experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Strong underwriting management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio and develop an E&S Property business plan.
• Underwrite and maintain own book of business with authority.
• Lead staff and assign work to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Track loss activity, budgets and performance metrics monthly.
• Partner with risk engineering, claims and marketing to optimize service.
