MSIG USA is hiring an E&S Property Underwriting Manager to lead portfolio strategy, underwriting quality, and staff development. The role includes managing a book of business, distributing underwriting authority, and collaborating with Risk Engineering, Claims, and Marketing.

Hybrid role across TX (Dallas/Addison) and CA (Los Angeles) with a focus on profitability, growth, and process improvements. Requires 7+ years in commercial P&C and 3+ years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of commercial P&C coverage experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Strong underwriting management skills and leadership qualities.

Responsabilités

• Manage E&S Property portfolio and contribute to business plan.
• Underwrite and maintain own book of business.
• Assign underwriting authority and coordinate with National Underwriting.
• Lead and develop staff; oversee performance management.
• Manage Account Management with cross-functional teams.
• Track loss activity, marketing, and budget metrics; report findings.
• Implement training and self-audit processes for compliance.
