Zuric h NA in United States is seeking an experienced E&S Excess Casualty Underwriter to join our growing Casualty team with hybrid work options across Chicago, New York, Parsippany, or Atlanta. You will develop broker relations, apply underwriting expertise in risk assessment and pricing, and collaborate across claims, finance and risk units to grow a profitable book. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1+ years in Insurance or Market Facing area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support area and knowledge of industry/regulations
• Knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques and guidelines
• Experience with insurance laws and rating rules

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain relationships with broker partners and customers across industries
• Apply underwriting acumen to risk assessment, exposure evaluation and pricing
• Collaborate with claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary and other units
• Coach and empower junior team members
