Job summary

Latham & Watkins seeks an E-Discovery Project Manager for its New York office to lead matter delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams across legal and IT. You will own project plans, timelines, and client communications, ensuring budgets stay on track and information remains confidential.

Ideal candidates bring six+ years in electronic discovery, PMP/CEDS certification preferred, with deep knowledge of ESI processing and forensics. A hybrid schedule is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; six years of relevant experience may substitute
• Certification in project management or eDiscovery practices (e.g. PMP/CEDS) preferred
• Six+ years in electronic discovery consulting, project management, and litigation support including data processing and document review platforms
• Prior experience handling second requests is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide project coordination across multiple teams while ensuring an excellent client experience
• Collaborate with eDiscovery Solutions Attorneys to develop and implement best practices for handling ESI
• Understand client needs and ensure requirements are documented and incorporated into project plans
• Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines for eDiscovery projects
• Oversee project budgets and financial considerations, communicating with stakeholders on scope and cost impacts
• Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information
