Job summary

Sheppard Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is seeking an eDiscovery Project Manager to oversee multiple matters in a hybrid environment based in Washington DC or New York. You will manage data preservation, collection, processing, and review while coordinating with attorneys, clients, and vendors.

The role requires at least 3 years in eDiscovery project management, strong communication, and budget planning skills. Familiarity with Relativity, Brainspace, and case management tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an eDiscovery project manager, preferably in a large law firm environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with clarity and tact.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and escalate issues as needed.
• Strong customer service orientation with detail and process focus.
• Ability to deliver results with moderate supervision.
• Professional demeanor in line with firm culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple eDiscovery matters concurrently.
• Serve as primary contact for attorneys, paralegals, clients and vendors.
• Plan and budget eDiscovery activities and advise on costs and timelines.
• Conduct data preservation, collection, processing, and review activities.
• Coordinate vendor services and ensure deliverables meet specs.
• Coach junior colleagues and document best practices.
