Innovative Driven is seeking a Practice Support Project Manager with extensive eDiscovery project management experience for a leading AmLaw 50 global law firm client in New York City.

The role is hybrid: three days onsite in NYC and two days remote. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in guiding collection, review, and retrieval of electronic data across eDiscovery platforms.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in electronic discovery consulting and project management, incl. data processing and document review platforms.
• Certification in project management or eDiscovery practices preferred (PMP/CEDS).
• Strong understanding of eDiscovery platforms, litigation lifecycle, and IT systems relevant to ESI handling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the internal eDiscovery team to implement best practices for handling clients’ ESI.
• Document and integrate eDiscovery workflow into project plans and timelines.
• Oversee project budgets and financial considerations.
• Provide status reports to stakeholders and facilitate effective communication.
• Advise on database design and workflow to optimize document review and productions.
• Consult with legal teams on vendor selection and platform recommendations.
• Assist in design of searches and analysis of results.
• Offer technical guidance for case strategy and discovery productions.
• Participate in matter conferences and production discussions.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies impacting collection and review.

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a professional and dynamic Practice Support Project Manager with solid eDiscovery project management experience to join the collaborative team at one of our most well-respected AmLaw 50 global law firm clients!

The role will be hybrid, with three days a week onsite in NYC and two days remote.

The ideal candidate must have at least five years of experience facilitating strategies for the collection, review, and retrieval of electronic data, utilizing a strong understanding of electronic discovery, the litigation lifecycle, practice-related technologies, and eDiscovery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the internal eDiscovery team to develop and implement best practices for handling clients’ electronically stored information (ESI)
• Ensure that eDiscovery workflow is documented, communicated and incorporated into project plans
• Implement project plans and timelines for eDiscovery projects
• Oversee project budgets and financial considerations
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration by providing status reports
• Advise legal teams, internal resources and third-party service providers on effective database design and workflow to ensure efficient document review and productions
• Consult with legal teams and clients regarding vendor selection
• Recommend review platforms and workflows
• Assist in the design of searches and analyze results
• Provide technical guidance in the preparation of case strategy
• Participate in matter conferences and production discussions
• Build awareness of emerging technologies to advise case teams on collection and review

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
• Certification in project management or eDiscovery practices (ex. PMP and/or CEDS) preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electronic discovery consulting and project management, including data processing and document review platforms required
• Prior experience handling second requests a plus.
• Advanced eDiscovery operational skills and expertise with legal processes, electronic discovery best practices, and the ability to advise case teams accordingly is required
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems architecture including server systems, email systems, database systems, telecommunications systems, mobile devices, social media, and cloud storage and implications for eDiscovery
• Expert level knowledge of forensics collection methodologies, ESI processing and document review technologies
• Extensive knowledge of industry-leading review applications, including Relativity, Nuix Discover, and Reveal
• Strong skills with the implementation of advanced analytics and other artificial intelligence technology including but not limited to technology assisted review, continuous active learning and statistical sampling
• Knowledge of general practice support, fact management and an awareness of emerging technologies for litigation
