Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP seeks an E-Discovery Project Manager in New York to oversee all aspects of a Litigation matter, acting as a trusted advisor and primary liaison with case teams. The role supports hybrid and in-office work arrangements in NYC.

The position requires a strong background in eDiscovery, IT systems knowledge, and a track record in project management, budgeting, and data handling with sensitive information. Applicants should have a PMP/CEDS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; six years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• Certification in project management or eDiscovery practices (e.g., PMP and/or CEDS) preferred
• Six+ years of experience in electronic discovery consulting, project management, and litigation support

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects across multiple teams ensuring excellent client experience
• Collaborate with eDiscovery attorneys to implement best practices for ESI handling
• Document requirements and incorporate them into detailed project plans
• Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines for eDiscovery engagements
• Monitor budgets and costs, communicating any scope changes to stakeholders
• Protect highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
