Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking an E-Discovery Project Manager in New York to oversee a Litigation matter end-to-end, serving as the primary liaison with case teams and managing service delivery. The role may offer hybrid work with in-office presence in the New York office.

The ideal candidate has substantial experience in electronic discovery, project management, and litigation support, plus relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CEDS). A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; six (6) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Certification in project management or eDiscovery practices (e.g., PMP and/or CEDS) preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in electronic discovery consulting, project management, and litigation support, including data processing and document review platforms.
• Prior experience handling second requests, preferably.

Responsibilities

• Provide project coordination across multiple teams while ensuring an excellent client experience.
• Collaborate with eDiscovery Solutions Attorneys to develop and implement best practices for handling ESI.
• Understand client needs and ensure requirements are documented and incorporated into project plans.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines for eDiscovery projects.
• Oversee project budgets and costs, communicating with stakeholders about scope and cost implications.
• Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information.
