Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to assist a Senior PM in planning, executing, and monitoring production programs from award to closeout. You will coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Contracts to meet cost, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.

You will help manage program plans, perform risk and cost analysis, and support customer communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevent experience in DoD programs or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or Business degree may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily execution of contract requirements, tracking progress against cost, schedule, quality, and delivery commitments.
• Develop and maintain assigned program plans, schedules, milestones, and action items aligned with production requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to address material availability, manufacturing capacity, technical issues, and production readiness.
• Support IPT and program meetings; lead assigned discussions and track actions through completion.
• Monitor program financial performance and assist with budgets, forecasts, estimates to complete, and variance analysis.
• Identify and track program risks, opportunities, and execution issues; coordinate mitigation actions.
