Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Manager of Material Program Management to lead end-to-end material execution for multiple development, production, and sustainment programs. The role partners with Melbourne, Dallas, and Cypress teams to ensure consistent standards and integrated pricing, sourcing, and forecasting.

You will oversee budgets, material availability, and forecasting, drive EAC rigor, and guide cross‑functional teams through proposals and reviews while advancing tools

Qualifications

• Direct Material Program Management (MPM) experience.
• Leadership experience within large-scale Aerospace & Defense companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end material supply chain execution for assigned Melbourne programs.
• Lead and/or coordinate with Material Program Managers across Melbourne, Dallas, and Cypress.
• Collaborate with peer Senior Managers to align standards across sites.
• Build strong relationships with Procurement and Subcontracts for pricing and sourcing.
• Own program material budgets and forecasting for all programs.
• Drive participation in program financial processes (EAC cycles, AOP).
• Pre-brief leadership ahead of reviews and proposals.
• Lead proposal activity including material pricing strategy and BOE support.
• Maintain material risk/opportunity registers and mitigation plans.
• Establish operating rhythm and performance reviews across stakeholders.
• Communicate status clearly to leadership for actionable insight.
• Champion continuous improvement of ERP and BI reporting.
