Job summary

AAA Northeast is looking for a Dispatch Supervisor to lead the dispatch area, coordinating with ERS, call center, field staff, training, and management to achieve superior performance and service quality.

This hybrid role (onsite three days a week, remote two days) requires meeting work-from-home requirements and supports our mission of dependable, community-focused service for members. Salary range is $57,000–$64,000 per year, with a 2nd shift: Tue–Sat 2:30pm–11:00pm.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required or 3-4 years of additional relevant work experience required.
• Dispatch supervision and supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs the dispatch area to meet response time targets.
• Monitors calls and service areas for aging and bottlenecks; takes corrective actions.
• Supervises lead dispatch personnel and ensures role clarity and competence.
• Ensures adherence to AAA standards and Five Diamond Service; provides performance reports.
• Identifies patterns of problems and coordinates with supervisors, field staff, and management to implement corrections.
• Assists in design and implementation of operational and technological changes.
• Detects equipment malfunctions and communicates issues with contingency measures.
• Maintains cost awareness and stewardship in dispatch decisions.
