Job summary

AAA Northeast seeks a dispatch supervisor for a hybrid role in Providence, RI. Eligible applicants must live within commutable distance to Providence and will typically work onsite 3 days and remotely 2 days each week.

The 2nd shift runs Tuesday–Saturday, 2:30pm–11:00pm, supporting a fast-paced dispatch operation. Under guidance, you will oversee dispatch activities, mentor lead staff, and collaborate with ERS, field staff, and management to improve service quality while ensuring adherence to

Qualifications

Associate's degree required or 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
Dispatch supervisory experience preferred.
Strong coordination with multiple teams to improve service quality.

Responsibilities

Directs the activities of the dispatch area and makes on-the-spot decisions to prevent or correct problems.
Supervises dispatch area to meet ERS response time targets and ensure calls are completed within time targets.
Mentors and directs lead dispatch personnel and ensures clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
Adheres to AAA's standards and Five Diamond Service practices and provides regular performance reports to management.
Identify patterns of problems and coordinate with supervisors, field staff and management to implement solutions.
