Job summary

Canon USA in Itasca, IL seeks a customer-focused dispatch support professional to assist Field Service Managers. You will balance workloads, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely ETA updates for high-value customers, while handling escalations and complex Oracle reports.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent with 4–6 years related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Call center or dispatch knowledge preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• May guide less experienced employees; occasional shift changes.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding service to customers calling the dispatch team.
• Responds to routine customer inquiries via live call or Email as needed.
• Provides follow through on any special customer needs in a timely manner.
• Responsible for handling escalated situations.
• Balances workloads to meet customer service SLAs; updates ETA as needed.
• Coaches peers to improve response times and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Provides back-up phone support as needed.
• Responsible for working complex Oracle reports.
• Schedules installs and de-installs.
