Job summary

Professional Services Group, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to work with DVR consumers, providing career assessment and coaching, job preparation, and development services.

The role focuses on helping individuals with disabilities gain workforce readiness through job shadows, internships, soft skills training, task analysis, and retention services. The position is part-time with potential to grow to full-time, located in Kenosha, WI, with flexible hybrid/remote scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or related.
• Experience in job development or job center services is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations and people with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess employment readiness of individuals, determine barriers and needs for accommodations.
• Maintain regular contact with assigned caseload.
• Meet with consumers in PSG offices, libraries, job centers, community buildings, or via Internet or telephone.
• Provide employability skill-building services, researching and focusing on the latest job search techniques.
• Provide job development and employment retention services for consumers.
• Reach out to employers to present the DVR Programs and consumers available for employment.
• Complete billing and reports as required.
