Job summary

Professional Services Group in Kenosha, WI is hiring an Employment Specialist to support DVR clients with employment readiness evaluation, job preparation, and placement services.

The role works directly with individuals with disabilities, offering assessments, counseling, and opportunities including job shadows, internships, soft skills training, and job development. Part-time with growth potential to full-time, hybrid/remote scheduling available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Experience in job development or job center services preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations and people with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess employment readiness of individuals, determine barriers and needs for accommodations.
• Maintain regular contact with assigned caseload.
• Meet with consumers in PSG offices, libraries, job centers, community buildings, or via Internet or telephone.
• Provide employability skill-building services, researching and focusing on the latest job search techniques.
• Provide job development and employment retention services for consumers.
• Reach out to employers to present the DVR Programs and consumers available for employment.
• Complete billing and reports as required.
