Glenmede seeks a Director of Architecture and Engineering to lead a senior technology team in Philadelphia. The role focuses on modernizing core platforms, data foundations for AI, and governance across enterprise systems.

The candidate will drive architecture roadmaps, partner with security and infrastructure, and establish clear delivery metrics while guiding a growing team in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field.
• 10+ years in technology with 5+ years leading software or platform teams.
• Experience leading a technology org of 10+ people.
• Strong hands-on background across enterprise apps, cloud, APIs, middleware, data, and docs.
• Experience evaluating third-party software with TCO analysis.
• Experience in financial services and explaining tech tradeoffs to execs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee architecture roadmaps for CRM (Salesforce) and data platforms.
• Partner with security, infra, and vendor teams to maintain cost-effective risk controls.
• Create accountability and metrics across engineering groups.
• Lead modernization and data strategy initiatives for AI capabilities.
