Glenmede Trust Co. is seeking a Director of Architecture and Engineering to lead a senior technology team in a hybrid Philadelphia office environment. You will drive modernization of the CRM and internal platforms, build the data foundation for AI, and establish governance across data assets.

The role requires strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, and expert architectural leadership. The position emphasizes talent development, documentation, and scalable organizational design to meet

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related field.
10+ years of technology experience, including 5+ years leading software development or platform engineering teams.
Experience leading a technology organization of 10+ people.
Strong hands-on architecture and engineering background across enterprise apps, cloud services, SaaS, APIs, middleware, data services, and document platforms.
Experience evaluating third-party software and presenting buy/build recommendations with total cost of ownership.
Experience establishing data governance, including data ownership and lineage.

Responsibilities

Oversee target-state architecture and roadmaps for CRM and data platforms.
Partner with security, infrastructure, and vendors to maintain a cost-effective ecosystem.
Create structured accountability for delivery across engineering teams.
Establish capacity planning, delivery commitments, and dashboard metrics.
