Job summary

The University of Minnesota seeks a Director to provide strategic governance, organizational design, and administrative leadership for CCAPS undergraduate and graduate academic operations and student services, managing 8–9 direct reports and driving operational excellence through data analytics and AI-enabled enterprise tools.

This is a hybrid, 12-month appointment with 2–3 in-office days per week, with occasional evenings for unit/campus events; sponsorship for H-1B or Green Card is not

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education administration with direct supervision.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and promote equity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise systems and data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with curriculum planning and accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead undergraduate and graduate student services operations.
• Oversee degree audits and graduation clearances.
• Develop enrollment forecasting and capacity planning.
• Manage 8–9 direct reports and supervise performance.
• Collaborate with faculty and program directors on policy and process improvements.
