Job summary

The University of Minnesota is seeking an Academic Operations Manager to serve as the primary project manager for the college’s academic cycle, coordinating CourseDog and PeopleSoft, aligning schedules with registration deadlines, and ensuring data accuracy for degree planning.

You will optimize workflows in Asana, analyze enrollment trends for capacity planning, manage payroll and faculty data, and partner with the Director of Academic Operations to deliver a reliable, student‑centered

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 5+ years in academic administration, registrar operations, or data management; or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience performing complex data entry and troubleshooting in a SIS such as PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workflows using project management software (Asana/Trello/Smartsheet).
• Documented experience maintaining curriculum, course catalogs, or payroll tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead the academic scheduling cycle, ensuring undergraduate and graduate schedules are implemented and published by registration deadlines.
• Guarantee data integrity for course attributes, requirement groups, and student groups in PeopleSoft and CourseDog.
• Bridge institutional deadlines with team execution by maintaining Asana workflows and timely task completion.
• Oversee the technical transition of instructional spaces to ensure a smooth start‑of‑term experience for students and faculty.
• Manage adjunct and overload payroll lifecycle in compliance with policy and contracts.
