Job summary

MUFG is seeking a corporate finance professional to support Sponsor Finance & Direct Lending, including non-investment grade origination and credit analysis. You will assess risk factors, determine ratings, and manage credit costs while maximizing net income.

The role requires collaboration with deal teams, coverage and syndications, and involves client meetings, due diligence, and credit structure development. A hybrid work model is offered in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; CFA candidacy is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling and credit risk analysis skills.
• Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support credit analysis and management of Sponsor/Direct Lending.
• Perform due diligence on new transactions and portfolio reviews.
• Assist in evaluating, structuring and negotiating credit terms.
• Prepare detailed credit analyses and applications per policy.
• Model credit applications and quarterly review presentations.
• Support idea generation and client/pitch activities.
• Contribute to syndication strategy and lender communications.
• Coordinate information across teams; stay informed on industry conditions.
• Oversee facility closing procedures and documentation.
