Job summary

MUFG is seeking a Credit Analyst to support the Portfolio Management team in the Power & Utilities vertical. You will assess risk, perform credit analyses, and monitor a designated portfolio across traditional and renewable energy clients.

The role involves developing financing structures and ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory standards. The position offers hybrid work arrangements (four days in-office, one day remote) and requires a Bachelor's degree with 1 year experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a related role is required.
• Understanding of power and utility sector and ESG trends preferred.
• Solid credit and analytical background with financial spreading/modeling skills.
• Completion of formal credit-training program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support management of the Power & Utilities corporate loan portfolio.
• Perform due diligence and evaluate loan portfolio on schedule.
• Prepare detailed credit analyses and credit applications per policy.
• Model financing structures for credit applications and quarterly reviews.
• Coordinate account information across constituencies and monitor portfolio risk.
