Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Die Program Manager to lead the overall die line program, ensuring adherence to best practices and timely transitions from design to production. You will drive lessons learned, SPQRC metrics, and issue closure while coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams.

The role requires a metallurgical/mechanical/materials background with 5+ years in tool and die or related field, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Engineering with 5+ years in Tool and Die/Integration roles.
• Experience with project management methods across cost, timing, scope, quality, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in NX, Teamcenter, MS Office; familiarity with die design and try-out processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead die program management at a die line level and ensure schedules are met.
• Oversee design reviews, buyoffs, and transitions to production facilities.
• Coordinate formability, LOIs, and lessons learned for future programs.
• Ensure SPQRC metrics and quality looping compliance across panels and parts.
• Support and attend design and construction reviews and related events.
