Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a DevOps Engineer to join our Ft. Meade, MD hybrid team with three onsite days at DISA HQ. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across Azure/AWS/GCP, lead CI/CD pipelines, and implement Infrastructure as Code to automate deployment.

The ideal candidate has strong cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, and scripting skills, with DoD security clearance and a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ (or higher).
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP (expert).
• Terraform and Ansible experience required.
• Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• CI/CD pipelines: YAML-based automation across platforms.
• Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Linux-based environment proficiency.
• Understanding of classified environments and sovereign clouds.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain IaC across multi-cloud environments.
• Build and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE) for high availability.
• Establish unified monitoring and logging across hybrid systems.
• Enforce DevSecOps practices and security guardrails.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
