Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role at Ft. Meade, MD, with 3 days onsite at DISA HQ. The candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across Azure/AWS/GCP, bridging development and operations to optimize CI/CD pipelines and IaC.

Strong cloud, automation, and security expertise are required. The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and collaboration within a DoD-focused environment, including on-premises deployments and enclave

Qualifications

U.S. Citizen.
Active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II Security+ (or higher).
Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Terraform (required) and Ansible experience.
Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm experience.
Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
CI/CD pipelines defined with YAML in standard pipelines.
Linux-based environments expertise.
Understanding of classified environments and sovereign clouds.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain immutable infrastructure using Terraform/Ansible across multi-clouds.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE) with high availability.
Establish unified monitoring and log centralization across hybrid systems.
Enforce DevSecOps practices, IAM, and security guardrails.
Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
