Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have strong Kubernetes and AWS experience, with a focus on CI/CD, automation, and Linux administration. This role involves on-site support on a rotating schedule in Hanover, MD, with occasional work from our Columbia, MD office.

Flexibility and collaboration are essential. The position requires a Top Secret DoD clearance, 9+ years in DevOps or 7 years with a Master’s, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret DoD clearance required.
• 9+ years in DevOps engineering or software development, or 7 years with Masters in related field.
• Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda) and deployment/management.
• Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (e.g. Security+).
• Ability to support onsite rotating schedule in Hanover, MD or Columbia, MD with some remote time.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment processes and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues for high availability.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to optimize performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
