Job summary

Northwestern University is seeking a Program Assistant in Evanston, IL to support the Central Major Gifts development team under the Senior Director of Development for the Chicago Region. The role includes data gathering, CRM input, reports, donor briefings, event support, and travel expense processing.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with two remote days and three onsite.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4 years of administrative support or relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and compose correspondence.
• Create and maintain standard spreadsheets and/or databases.
• Prepare queries, reports and statistics from multiple sources.
• Determine formats and data elements and identify trends.
• Maintain websites or blogs and update content in the CMS.
• Approve expenses, purchases and reimbursements per budget and maintain financial records.
• Coordinate calendars, travel, events and budgets.
• Screen and route incoming inquiries and provide policy interpretations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
