Job summary

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction is seeking a Design Project Manager in Chicago for leading multidisciplinary design projects from initiation through closeout. The role focuses on scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and client expectations across internal teams, consultants, and contractors.

Ideal candidates have experience with complex facilities (industrial/manufacturing/food & beverage) and design-build environments, with a collaborative, fast-paced style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager leading multi-disciplinary design teams.
• Strong project management, scheduling, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strategic and creative project solutions.
• Develop, implement and oversee a project plan for the scope of work.
• Communicate scope, including complex technical items, to client, contractors and design team.
• Develop and assure design schedules are maintained.
• Forecast staffing resource requirements.
• Coordinate interface between the design/build team.
