Job summary

MOCA Systems, Inc. in Southern California seeks a Design Manager to lead design management for complex construction projects, guiding the process from definition through construction while aligning with the owner's vision.

You will coordinate with project leadership, clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring design quality, schedule adherence, and budget alignment, with up to 25% travel and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture with minimum 6 years in planning, design and construction.
• California-registered architect, active license desired.
• LEED AP, DBIA, PMP or CCM desired.
• Experience in all phases of work.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design management across concept through construction.
• Lead coordination with client, consultants, and contractors.
• Maintain ongoing communication and project status with stakeholders.
• Prepare meeting minutes and support BD proposal responses.
• Attend design meetings and document decisions.
• Travel up to 25% to project sites and offices.
