MOCA Systems, Inc. invites applications for a Design Manager (Owner’s Representative/Architect). This role supports complex projects through all phases, with hybrid work in Southern California and periodic in-office presence.

The position requires NCARB-accredited architecture education and substantial project experience, plus travel up to 25%. The Design Manager will guide vision, manage design teams, and ensure alignment with the owner’s goals, while collaborating with leadership on client

Qualifications

NCARB accredited Bachelor’s degree in architecture and a minimum of six (6) years as a practicing architect involved in planning, design and construction.
California registration and active license desired.
Experience in all project phases is required.
Ability to lead design management and coordinate with client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of services for complex projects, including feasibility studies, master planning, and procurement.
Assist in design management, attend design meetings, and maintain meeting minutes.
Prepare client content and meeting notes; support business development proposals.
