Regal Rexnord is seeking a Design Engineer II (Mechanical) to lead mechanical design for new product development and support sustainability testing, with a focus on sound and vibration testing. You will utilize CAD, FEA/CFD tools, and lab testing to optimize performance and cost.

You’ll manage multiple projects, coordinate with suppliers, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a hybrid work setting. English required; US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years mechanical design experience in industrial products or components.
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks) and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with sound and vibration testing and modal analysis.
• Familiarity with DFMEA, PPAP, GD&T and lean processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet milestones.

Responsabilités

• Complete motor housing and component designs for NPD and existing products.
• Analyze and test mechanical systems to minimize noise and optimize acoustics.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in designs.
• Lead project priorities and stage-gate milestones.
• Prepare specifications and coordinate with suppliers/vendors.
• Create test plans, run tests, analyze data and report results.
• Support safety policies and cross-functional collaboration.
