Job summary

Regal Rexnord’s Micro-Motion unit in the US R&D team seeks a Design Engineer to support sustaining engineering and existing product lines. The role reports to Sustaining Engineering Manager and is based in West Chester, PA.

You’ll collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and application engineering to drive design improvements, manage ECOs, and assist with RMA analysis while aligning with our core values and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years manufacturing or design experience.
• Understanding of quality systems and process improvement tools.
• Experience with motors or precision rotating equipment preferred.
• Experience with QS and ISO requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to support existing products.
• Facilitate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality on problem-solving for design improvements.
• Support customer RMA analysis for sustainable solutions.
• Interview with applications engineering to ensure design meets customer expectations.
• Support cost-controlling VAVE initiatives.
• Uphold company values and culture.
