Ford Motor Company is seeking a Chief Designer - Experience to lead a multi-disciplinary design team, own a brand domain, and drive strategic design direction across physical and digital experiences.

You will collaborate across Design, Marketing, Technology, Program Management, CX, and business units, guiding teams from research to prototyping while aligning with business strategy and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of work experience (8+ years with a Master’s).
• 5+ years applying human-centered design to physical and digital touchpoints, aligning hardware, software, and service elements into a single experience.
• 4+ years leading multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Own a brand domain and drive its strategic design direction.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary design team and guide projects from ideation to prototyping.
• Champion a holistic, customer-centered approach across physical and digital experiences.
• Partner cross-functionally with Ford Design, Marketing, Technology, and business units to align on future programs.
• Influence product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and decision-making across teams.
