Job summary

Ford's Digital Product Design Team is seeking a Visual Design Lead to set the look and feel for Ford and Lincoln digital experiences. You will lead visual and motion design guidelines, collaborating with UX, engineering, and leadership to deliver on-brand experiences across in-vehicle and connected touchpoints.

The role requires senior-level expertise with a strong portfolio, remote collaboration skills, and a passion for brand-driven digital product design in the automotive space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic/digital design.
• 6+ years of dedicated Visual UI/UX design experience for complex digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design for digital products.

Responsibilities

• Establish and codify the look and feel for Ford and Lincoln digital experiences.
• Define and guide visual and motion design standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with UX and engineering to deliver on-brand experiences across digital touchpoints.
• Lead exemplar work in visual design.
• Support teams with high-quality visual and motion execution.
• Guide visual design across in-vehicle and connected experiences.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders about design language and progress.
• Leverage consumer research and automotive context to inform design language.
